Sweden is a sparsely populated country, characterized by its long coastline, extensive forests and numerous lakes. It is one of the world’s northernmost countries. Cost of Study 

Tuition fees apply to students who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland. The fees apply only to bachelor’s and master’s programs and courses, while PhD programs are tuition-free. Universities set their own fees, and these vary between SEK 80,000–140,000 per academic year for most subjects.

Working in Sweden

If you are enrolled at a Swedish university or university college you can work in Sweden during the course of your studies without a work permit. You do, however, need a residence permit if you stay for longer than three months
Nordic, EU and EEA citizens are allowed to reside and work in Sweden without a work and residence permit, but need to register at the Swedish Migration Board. 

Application Requirements 
  • A copy of valid passport showing the identity of the student
  • A certificate showing that the student is enrolled for the full time study
  • A certificates showing that the student has comprehensive health insurance that is valid in Sweden 
  • A certificate from a bank confirming that student have enough fund to support their stay in Sweden or the necessary documents that show that student have received a scholarship, study grant or any other type of financial aid
